“The things I liked best about taking Nina's course were that I finally had the chance to do something I had been thinking about for a long time, I learnt how how to structure my story, the classes were fun and the company was great”.

“The strongest feature of the course was Nina getting us to feel at ease and inspired.”

“The best things about writing and illustrating a book for your child are that the book can be so personal and it is fun for the child to have. Working in a group was great because I got to see other people's ideas and get inspired by them. Nina's personality and her knowledge were two of the best things about taking this course. I have learnt a lot through this course and gathered many good ideas.”

“Nina has done a great job structuring the course. I got lots of ideas and have become very inspired! What I really liked was that my stories, thoughts and ideas can be written down and become a book, and that I feel good because I have stimulated my creativity. I also love that I can give my daughter a book that is hers. Working together in a group made working on the book more fun, we supported each other, inspired each other and were 'pushed' in the right way. It has been really fun.”

“Because of Nina's storybook course I increased my creativity and had the chance to reflect on what kind of books my son likes. Working in a group one was stimulated and had deadlines so that the book would be finished. Nina is SUCH an inspiring teacher!”

I have never heard of this kind of course before and since I have had a dream for many years to write a child's book I saw my chance to give it a try!

The best parts of taking the course were:

  • getting started and getting ideas about how to write a child's book.
  • the playful approach and concept and yet expecting us to create something!
  • Meeting new people and taking part in the different stories and ideas each one had for their book. Inspiring!

Creating a book for a child allowed me to share an important experience in my life that’s not so easily put into words. I could “paint” a larger picture with words, images and colors.

I loved being creative and seeing my book (and others books) evolve.

You are such a great person and I enjoyed getting to know you. You have a great personality making us feel at home.
