What language will the course be held
in?
Most local courses are held in Swedish unless
otherwise advertised.
How long is the
course?
We meet 5 times over a period of 6
weeks. The courses take place in and around Gothenburg, Sweden. So if you
live in the area and are interested to find out what 'in person' courses are happening
right now please feel free to send me an email.
nina@createabookforachild.com
Will I have tasks to complete between
classes?
Yes! After each class you will be assigned tasks. You will be expected to
dedicate at minimum one hour to creating your book each week. If you do this you are sure
to have a finished bound book in your hands by the end of the course. The tasks are fun
and straight forward so they won't feel like doing 'homework' (and as I have already
mentioned, I'll give you some tips on how to easily find the time.)
Will I
need to spend lots of money on art
materials?
No! One
of the really great things about creating a storybook for your child is you don't need to go
out and buy expensive materials. I will bring basic materials with me to the classes.
You will need to have some basic materials to continue your work between classes,
but most of the materials you will need you probably already have at
home. It is totally up to you how much money you want to invest in art
materials.

“Because of Nina's storybook course I increased
my creativity and had the chance to reflect on what kind of books
my son likes. Working in a group one was stimulated and had
deadlines so that the book would be finished. Nina is SUCH an
inspiring teacher!”
